Rene Marie Russo, an American film director and actress who was a former supermodel is now a film director. Then she joined Invicta Fighting Championships before joining Ultimate Fighting Championships (UFC). After joining the UFC in 2011, she became famous because of the fame she achieved both in and out of the octagon. Namajunas was born June 29th 1993 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to a Lithuanian immigrant family. Rose was involved in a variety of activities as a kid such as basketball and kickboxing. at the age of 18, she made her professional debut for Invicta Fighting Championships at which she won two fights via submission. Dana White noticed this and on December 14, 2014, at the age of 22, she signed her for a fight as a strawweight for UFC. Rose was a high-flyer but she's also experienced lows throughout her career, yet she has always come to the top. In April 2015 Rose was a part of the fight against Carla Esparza for the inaugural Women s Strawweight Championship at The Ultimate Fighter 20 Finale where she won by technical knockout just 3 seconds into the first round One which resulted in not only champion but being named Fighter Of The Night along and making history in MMA since this match was the first time ever that a women had fought for the title of champion in any of the major promotions around the world . Namajunas then went on to win several other fights. She also beat Joanna Jedrzejczyk two times, earning the Performance Of The Night awards from UFC.
